i dont think indian companies are good.i havenot worked with them..and dont know abt their policies..i m in a foriegn MNC and they are having gud policies and gud paymaster as well.they provide great facilities unlike indian MNCs.so its better to join US or UK based MNC.

Just saying that Indian companies r not good n foriegn MNC's r perfect is stupid..I hav fairly good idea about both and I believe that it's upon ur capabilities and ur selection of job, which makes u feel satisfied or unsatisfied with job..if u hav good credentials n potential, u can make a lot out of many indian companies..all u need is potential..
Its just that MNC's have a more open environment and liberal culture, which Indian companies don't. MNC's pay you a lot but expect you to slog day in and day out. But Indian cos will pay peanuts, but you can walk out at 6. Depends on your priorities

plz dont generalise, b specific, do u mean to say everyone slogs in mncs, i can sho u several gals / women who get calls from their bfs / hubbiesand immediatly rush away, it depends on how smart ass u r in running away and not getting caught, im sure if anyone else tries, they d b blasted.

mr.bansal i think u have also construct a niche in ur mind that all that build in abroud is gold .this is only slavery non more than that .i have been working with the cipla ltd. and still i enjoy my hectic job and also progressing well here. i think u must do one thing if u cant help india in its development better not flatter the english we have paid much for this .

ABCD! what do you mean by indian MNCs and foreign MNCs? MNCs are supposed to be multinational as the name stands...and most of the MNCs in india are foreign MNCs. and more and more work is being outsourced. i won't be surprised if u wld be packing ur bags and coming to india because UR foreign MNC closed their shop there and opens afresh in india. don't live in past. india is not like what you think. we have mercs and bmws too...not elephants like the ppl of ur kind(read ABCDs) think...be proud to be an indian. i am.

jegan - why not try for a job in one of them ( not the Japanese or Korean ones - they are worse ) if you are qualified enough. You will see a world of difference. Indian companies are typically stingy in providing perks ( especially on travel ) as well as do not respect personal time. Services companies are known to make people work for extraordinary overtime on onsite assigment and not share the overtime billings with employees.
