Aditya Birla Group Adevrtisement
by Freek Guy on Apr 18, 2007 11:08 AM   Permalink

This post has if at all, only tangential relation to the article above. But I can't stop hating the advertisement of AB Group that comes in TV these days very frequently. It shows some apish humans some of them smiling, some seriously staring (I dunno why) - all in a horrible back ground music and simply no conversations at all. Worse still it lasts for a long duration by advertisement standards - no class, absolute nothing but it looks like the spending on the same has been huge, so the company has to somehow keep showing that.
I just change the channel the second I see the initial scene. Advertisements are meant to be catchy, creative - See the Mentos advertisement - lasting just 10 seconds, dialogues minimal - even an illiterate can understand - no stars, no big spending - but I haven't seen a single person without a smile watching it multiple times
