Its everywhere yaar, "PEOPLE DO NOT LEAVE BAD COMPANIES/ORGANIZATIONS, THEY LEAVE BAD MANAGERS".
Me too an ex-employee of Infosys. But at least we all Indians should accept one thing, we should be proud of Infosys and N. Murthy and his team. He created an empire where many many people have flourished and gained. The brand name doesn't matter to companies who don't know about Infosys, and believe me friends, there are plenty of such big shots who haven't have heard of the top Indian Multinationals.

I have communicated with many senior managers at client levels. There is this company in UK which dosent even want to hear few of our big IT names, they found people there so incompetent and needed sppon feeding to last level, there view on Indian talent is not so good. This is what happens when u have too many recruited quality is bound to go down

While it's likely to be true, Fact is u can't impress companies of all sizes! The fact that the bigger ones (and obvsly the ones that matter more for the IT majors) hv stuck to outsourcing over the last 10 yrs does suggest merit in the model... And for bigger clients, the Indian cos can afford higher level of quality assurance as well..

I think one can not generalised on the basis of one or two clients in the UK that they do not want to hear names of our big IT names. Otherwise how one can explain the rise in the client base of major IT companies. Again in regard to middle management level staf leaving Infosys, one should go by the attrition rate. If the attrition rate is high in comparision to other IT companies, one can derive this to the poor middle management. I do not think that attrition rate in Infosys is high as compared with other major IT companies.

Dude...

Infy is still a good company to work for. The problem is with managers and NOT with the company as such. Even I was an infoscion before; quit because of such problems and now working with Motorola Inc. I still feel proud that i was with Infy sometime.

Cheers
Ram

Hey Dude
Infosys is still a good company to work in India, yes It is not paying well but you get a name in resume which helps you to get other good jobs in market. "Love your job don't love your company " that's what Murhty said some time back. So work for infy for some time, take name and skill and join other MNC .
Cheers.
