Dear Sir, As I could make out from the article, dividend paid out on Equity based Schemes is tax free, then why not to choose the "dividend reinvestment" option, especially when the performance of the scheme is satisfactorily, and one is considering to make additional investment in the scheme. I think, through dividend reinvestment one gets opportunity for additional investment with out entry load. Request for clarification in this regard. Regards, S.C.Sharma

For most funds now, even dividend reinvestment carries the same entry load as a new investment.
