Income of My spouse

My wife is earning approx Rs. 5000/- P.M. from tutions classes.

Does She need to file Tax return for the same or Do I need to include her income in my tax return.

Pl. advise.

no if ur wifes income crosses the slab rate (180000) then ur liable to prepare ITR for her ,u cannot club her income since she is a separate entity under section 64(i)2 of income tax act .but for the income tax records u can file a nil return for ur wife.
