Not fit: Why Indians cannot bowl a bouncer in Perth?
by SBM on Nov 04, 2006 08:28 PM   Permalink

It is true, if you donot fit to play then you cannot play.

Indian fast/medium bowlers cannot raise the ball over the batsmens knee roll in pitches like MCG,Perth,Capetown, Johnsb'g, and other bouncy pitches.
In this past few months, Dhoni, our wicket keeper collected only few balls over this shoulder or chest height.

There is not a single Yorkers being bowled in Malaysia and ICC champions tropy from Indian bowlers.

But intrestingly, Australian , Pakistan, Kiwi , SA and Srilankan bowlers extracted some bounce in pitches like Chennai, Mumbai, Jaipur, Bangalore, Colombo etc.,

It shows that Indian Bowlers are not fit enough to bowl fast bowling. So we can go for 4 spinner and 1 pace man easily.
Agarkar - always gives 6 RPO
RP singh- 6 RPO
Sreesanth- 6.5 RPO

There is no point in using them.

Rick you are really great.
