Why is everyone picking on ISRO for just one lost mission in 13 successfullaunches? How come no one compares this to the trillion money swindled from the exchequer by politicians in countless scandals ? Satellite launch missions are not technically simple things. Even NASA lost two space shuttles after countless flawless launches. these risks have to be accepted for the ultimate benefit they bring and that is considerably more than 256 crores.

I quite agree with Raghu. We Indians generally have very short memory. One failed mission out of 13 sucessful missions doesn't mean anything to Indians.
So much of money is being swindled and not even an eyebrow is raised. what a tragedy?
