Give ISRO a break you guys!!! Every new venture has initial failure. Even the Americans, Russians etc. had failures in their space programmes. Instead of complaining about the launch failure & the huge financial loss, people should come forward & encourage them. ISRO has some of the best brains in INDIA & they will succeed. As with regards to the taxpayers' money which people say was wasted, look into other places - if you know what I am talking about- to find out the real losses!!!

Well, its no mistake if you have managed to read the whole article and understand the principles of insurance.
In simple terms it means that there is a (one in three) chance for such a mission such as this to fail!! That's how it is being priced!
