Dear Manoj,
I fail to understand why you are using such abusive languages. A person after his graduation joins an organisation which comes in hand thereafter. But, little do they know that although it gives them a security the pay package is quite less than that in Private sector. Please don't under estimate the quality of such people who joins Govt. job. Are you aware that senior officers(Grp-A) are waiting for the govt. to declare a viable VRS for them? Why don't you all and the media pressurise the government to come up with a VRS package? The earlier it is done the better for a few lakh employees. These employees are stuck in the middle of an ocean. Even if the minimum number of years is curtailed from 20 yrs to 15 yrs and the grace period is enhanced to 10 yrs, in order to be eligible for pension, there will be voluntary appllications flooding lot of Ministries. LET US ALL ASK THE GOVERNMENT TO COME UP WITH SUCH OPTIONS.

I do agree that most of the govt servants (80%) are corrupt and they hardly work for the purpose they are appointed. nevertheless there are still honest persons (20%) in govt jobs who work hard. The fall in quality of work in Govt organisation may well be attributed politically driven decisions, reservation, promotion without work, No reward for the honest persons and No punishment for shirkers.
