Fifth pay commission was a necessity. But VIth pay commission is not. Not when the Fifth pay commission made the state and central governments reel in debt and 90% of revenue going in salaries of people who are laggard. Not just that. The Fifth pay commissions have ensured that the government can go on paying the same salaries with regular increments for the next 5-10 years. The fifth pay commission was hefty. The economy is booming because of private sector and hardworking people, not because of government personnel. They dont deserve an iota of the pie.

Pvt sector guys are being exploited by the multinationals and they are earning for the foreign countries for a petty low rates as compared to actual rates for same job in the respective country. Indian Govt servants work for the nation. No govt servant is demanding for any iota of pie earned by the pvt sector. They deserve the negation of the inflation which causes disparity in the pay and allowance over 10 years. It is logical to have a pay commission. And it will not effect the pay of private employees in any way. Why should they have objection and be jeleous of it? Simply because they were incompetent and incapable to get a govt. job.
