anamoly of sixth pay commision sixth pay commision has finally arrived. but with a few anamolies.. please comment on them..
1. pay of Maj has been made equivalent to deputy commandant of BSF/CRPF or eqvt.. likewise pay of Lt Col is now eqvt to 2ic and Col is now equal to a Commandant.... (Military service pay is only money... seniority is decided by the grade pay)
but in india warrant of precedence, Lt Col is in same precedence as Commandant of BSF/CRPF..please comment
2. Now the nurses are also equal to service officers except the difference in military service pay( 4200 vs 6000) but it is clearly mentioned that grade pay is what will decide seniority.. so a Maj Nurse becomes senior to a Capt Doctor..
So will the nurse ever take orders from the Doctor??
3. When we talk of edge in IAS they have a higher pay scale. But the edge of armed forced in form of higher pay scale has been diluted in the sixth pay commision. What has been given is the MSP ( Military Service Pay) after lowering the status of armed force officers.. Does it look like another nexus of IAS/ IPS or there is something more between the lines??
4. All pay commisions establish a broad relativity of officers of Defence Forces with the officers of Class-I central services and the Indian Police Service (IPS). Then how suddenly when speaking of side- stepping of defence 'short service officers' to CPOs/CPMFs,,, the rank of Maj with 6 yr of service looks similar to and not higher than a Deputy C

What the foes, years of insurgency couldn't do ,the sixth pay commission has done. They have demoralised more than 20000 officers(LT Col and equi) of the three Services by demoting them and they form the backbone of the three Services. You really wonder, all this scarifice for a thankless nation. You are not paid, not allowed to leave the Services and all for a pitiance. In this country u get penalised for performance , no wonder here we are. For people thinking to join it is nothing but slavery.

Then how suddenly when speaking of side- stepping of defence 'short service officers' to CPOs/CPMFs,,, the rank of Maj with 6 yr of service looks similar to and not higher than a Deputy Commandant with same yr of service .
point to note is that "Commission is unable to recommend an organized Group A service Status for Group A Officers in various CPMFs " this shows the pay commision is not ready to accept the CPMFs as equal to class-I central services. But easily starts equating defence officers with them..
5. What have our jawans done wrong to recieve less MSP ( Military service pay ) than MNS oficers.. may be the MSP should be reversed and they get 4200 while MNS get 1000 in lieu..

Service has to do nothing with seniority.A time scale lt colonel with 25 years of service is obviously junior to a colnel with 16 years of service. So nurses are nurses always. Doctors are Doctors.A Capt doctor should be always senior to Brig Nurse.
