Right Decision
by shiv on Jul 20, 2006 11:50 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Decision to form the sixth pay commission is right because the salaries which are paid to the state and central government employees are nowhere in comparison with the IT & privates sector companies. Indian economy is said to be booming, but the middle class society (most of which work for government) is not getting any benefit. The prices of commodities are rising at such a pace that it can only be afforded by the IT or Industry people. Hence there was a need to revise the pay scale of the government sector employes. And I thank the government for taking initiative in this direction.

Ravi , i am not angry with your arrogance because this is only with which our countrymen is aware of. You are ignorant in the sense that there are only babus who form the strength of govt. work force. Why you are forgetting people who do work compensation for which even 6th pay commision will not be able to provide. There is such big scientific community taking care of your present and future needs, doctors, defence forces, scientists, nature canservationists and many more. Do you know what sort of pay govt. gave to them and what they are eligible for. They even not get what this so called BPO or callcenter professional get.
Broaden your vision. You are not aware of kind actual difference in salary offered by govt. and private sector. It is just can't comaparable.
I am not saying blindfoldily increase salary of everyone but they have to rational. So that next time a scientist and a high school teacher are not on same pay scale.
Also about corruption its we only who are to blame and we only to clean it off. Ask yourself what steps you had taken against it.
