6th Pay commission is very much essential because there is gross disparity between private sector and govt. sector. If govt sit ideally without implementing 6th pay commission, the talents still struggling in govt sector shall definite move to greener pasture. It is a level playing field and country can afford it.

pradip, the question is not about the residing talent in the gov.sector & their matching pay scales .the question is about those employees itself who has made gov. sector such a disappointing sector .today if gov.is standing on such weak legs it is only due to these talents who taking advantage of job securities in this sector have abused & still do the finances through corrupt practices . in pvt.sector talents do the work like labours & get the green pay ,but that working sincerity & culture can hardly be seen by the same talent in gov. sector .

Dear Sumit,
YOU are 100% wrong? Do u know the numbers of toppers in BE/B.Tech/IIT sit for AIS mains? Just check and write such rubbish. Most of the IAS officers are now IIT's. Although it may be easier to get a job in the State Government, it is much harder and tougher to get a job in Central Government. Please try for urself if haven't tried yet or please ask your relatives to compete in such exams. You will realise. See the developments in Passport/ROC/Customs(Export - Import clearance)/Excise/ Scientific departments (ISRO/BHEL/BARC/DIT/ etc. Everyone is up on their knees to deliver and on time. Nowadays, its a 9.30 AM to 9.30 PM for most of the Grp-A officers. AND there are no timings for some group of officers. It is 24x7. Know it for urself.
