The Cong should call their bluff. If the proposed policies will benefit the econmony and the nation, then it would be suicidal for the BJP to oppose or reject them, but worse, the comrades will have no ace-in-the-hole with which to blackmail the UPA govt. Thus the BJP will effectively sideline the Left, while reaping some political capital for moving the country forward, even though they will be supporting their nemesis in the process, but which they can use to their advantage come next elctions.
