Hah! Sounds all good and rosy, but no matter how many IITians are willing to help, govt has been, and still is, 'the' problem - unless govt is willing to loosen its vice-like grip on everything, then no amount of good intentions will make any difference. And with the kind of divisive, destructive mindless politics of this fetid land, any chances of getting the selfish, power-hungry corrupt netas to agree to take themselves out of the controlling of things and making them unnecessary, is pure whimsy. And unlike China, India's Communists, out of political expediency, will never allow unfettered capitalism to rear it ugly head in this here communally based 'secular' nation.
