Even after paying all my outstanding dues in feb'2007 I requested SBI to close my credit card account, that never happened. Instead SBI suddenly sent me a statement in last month (April'08) with an outstanding of Rs. 33000 which they are claiming as a reversal of anaccounting mistake they did in the year 2006 which is completely flase. They are now sending people from the colleciton department at my residence and threatening my septuagenerian father who stays back in Kolkata at my permanent address. Can anybody tell me how to take action against them? I have all the proofs that I cleared off allt the dues I had had with SBI.
