The whole point of muslim appeasement is not about quota or any such affirmative action that could actually help muslims..
the present policies of government appease hardliner elements, ayatollahs and Ulema, those leaders who have vested interest in keeping the Muslims uneducated, underprivillaged and ignorant..
If there was a sincere effort by the government to bring about reforms in community, and work towards empowerment of masses, no one would object.
reason being, that such an empowerment, when done correctly, is bound to have a positive impact on social and economic well being of everyone, Hindus and Muslims alike.

You are correct.Poor uneducated simpletons, highly religious, and superstitious. Why attack them instead of helping them.
Such acts invite wrath from God.Thousand suicides in Holy Ganga and a thousand years in hell will not wash away that great sin! unfortunately all our Brahmin and uppercaste brothers are indulged in that.
