American system of education gives more emphasis on applications rather than theories. More importance is given to self-learning,instead of teaching. All most all of the American stuents have to take care of themselves after 18 years are so. Henec the emphasis on application helps them to take up some job immediately.They fit in well in job maket. While doing jobs many of the interested students continue their studies,but they have to strrugle hard on two accounts-job pressures and lack of emphasis on theoritical foundations. In India more emphasis is laid on theory and teaching(some dub it as spoon feeding) which are more helpful to the students in advanced studies.They pick up applications quickly.Parents support them here till they get a job,and hence undivided attention is given to learning.This approach contribiutes more toward better talent and skill building in India.
