Stay away from the Govt

We the people of India are the ones hit the most by the strike. I understand that the pension is an integral part of every SBI employees livelihood, but loosing million in revenue via transactions and affecting the public is not fair on their part.

What I'd like to say to the people is that if you are going to be dealing with the govertment, you are bound to face hardships. Unions, Procrastination, Lethargy, the list goes are all part of any Government run institution in the country. The best for us would be to stay away from them. This will teach them a leasson and am sure they will wake up and realise that competition is catching up on them.

I'd like to site a few of the government run institutions need to have a huge attitute revamp towards their jobs. SBI (or for this matter, any PSU Bank), LIC, Electricity Board (we got to go to them, dont have a choice), Revenue Officer's Office (Property Tax), Water Tax Board, the Village Administrative Officer's office, the Income Tax Dept.

I'd also like to add on a word about your taxes. Yes, stay away from them if they are going to be a pain to work with, but do pay your taxes so that our Country gets its due.

i am an student and an account holder of SBI, i too am facing a lot of probs because of this strike but i do support it because--

they are not as u saying technically causing any loss to the bank as against the 50 crores u said the bank is losing, its saving the salary payment of its 2,10,000 officers all over india....

they have been raising this issue for the past 12 years and have resorted to strike as the last option n lastly, the last time SBI striked was in 1977!!

not bad wen compared to other public sector orgs!
