typical media

Extremely typical of the current media to look at negatives in everything. The author musr NEVER have travlled in Delhi on a bus ( let alone on foot) if he thinks buses would solve the problem. They might be "trying" the bus corridor in Brazil, but the world over metro has been more succesful than buses.
Also the author is extremely unaware of modern London if he thinks that there is a Central Business District in London. There are more than one center's now, the financial district or banking district has a new neighbour in Canary wharf and traffic on the London underground is in all directions and not one way.
