I cant comment on the slave ship aspect of the job, since I myself have never experienced it. But one thing is for sure. These centres are defienitely killing the creativity and intellectual insitinct of our youth. One of my cousins hasnt even finished high school and has been offered a job in one of these call centres. Now if you start giving decent salaries to kids, who would want to study? They of course dont realize that completing their eduation is far more important than earning a ridiculously fat pocket money. What if suddenly the BPO industry goes bust, as it happened with software for a while. What will these kids, without even a high school degree, do with 'expertise in making phone calls'?
