what is said in the article is true. Fewer IITian are going abroad because of increase in remuneration in Indian Industries and that the students are apprehensive of future after an MS.
This shall not last long as the IITians who passed out and hav experienced few years of industry here tend to go for higher education typically an MBA.
For IITians to be in the country the market has to mature still further,create more entrepreneurial opportunities. One cant keep the best in the country with out offering lucrative responsibilities and remuneration.
lots to write..but the underlying fact is clear... the Drain has been offset by certain years but is def there unless the THE GOVT. realizes this and takes enough steps to retain them.
