no 10th report card isn't neessary. but a good academic career would be helpful for you. % range of 85-90% is good. but you should concentrate on your 11 12th class performance.

You can choose any B.Tech course preferably in CSE and IT, you will get even admission at near by college (Local to your vicinity) based on your PCM marks as well ur CET/AIEEE scores..For good collge keep ur PCM above 80 and CET above 135..Best Luck
