Kerala: State of decline
by Ajithprasad. p on Jun 07, 2005 11:23 AM   Permalink

What comes through the reoprt is your bias. If one had followed Kerala's electoral politics for the last 20 years it would become apparent that it would be a herculian task for Mr. Chandy to come back in power after the forthcoming election. He knows it, KPCC knows it and LDF knows it. Karunakaran knows it even better. Why do you think all these tamashas when the election is just around the corner? One should actually congradulate the Congress leadership for its bold disciplinary action. Chandy's govt. is doomed in the next election with or without Karunakaran. But the benificiarry will be the BJP, who as it had done in the recent byelections along with the Karunakaran's party will ensure the congress defeat and ensure at least a few seats of their own in the next election. BJP has already started talking about opening their account in the comming election. And in the long run that is going to adversily effect the Congress's electral fortunes for the years to come.
with regards
Ajithprasad
