Bangalore is groaning with pain. No doubt it has been a great story of success set up by IT industry. But the same is responsible for its pathetic condition also. Companies like Wipro, Infosys kept expanding in Bangalore without giving a thought to the city infrastructure. Every month they keep coming with another building , boasting of their number of employees. Even the projects mentioned in the list are just for going to offices. But what happens to the civic facilities. There is no plan by govt to develop residential area. The appartments are coming up with frantic pace in each and every "gali-Muhalla", with a bare minimum road for a car to go. There is no planning from builders (why would they ?) nor govt for proper commutation. There is hardly any place for kids to play. These big companies which showed the path to Bangalore , should take up more responsibility and should start looking beyond Bangalore , to give a break to Bangalore to re-vitalize the energies. They hardly show any presence in Northern part of India. Why cant they see potential centers at Jaipur, Bhopal, Dehradoon, Gurgaon, Ahemadabad, Lucknow. They are as well placed as BLR.
