i would like to know if a student clears his/her 12th boards in 2008 and wants to appear in JEE does it necessarily have to be in 2008 and second attempt if required in 2009.Can one not appear for the first time in 2009 ie, the next year after clearing the boards. ps- one can appear only twice in consecutive years.
