A few years ago, when I was looking for jobs, I came across a job posting by a big industrial house that said \'Students/graduates of Osamania Univ need not apply\'. I asked around whether this univ is so good that they are recruited without applications. In the USA, recruiters are wary if they see a degree from Osmania Univ (I know they are wary of degress from Bihar also). Making such a university into an IIT speaks only of politics and does not take into consideration the values, ethics and history of the colleges. My pick - 1. IT-BHU 2. Jadhavpur Rest all do not fit the bill to become an IIT.
