Why IIMs have not produced enough entrepreneurs?
by Pankaj on Apr 20, 2005 07:07 PM   Permalink

It's amazing that IIMs or other management institutes in India have not produced enough entrepreneurs. This is unlike IITs. This is a question directly related to this article. This clearly indicates that IIMs are not producing leaders, but followers. Afcourse, managers and entrepreneurs are different. But, there lies a fault in management teaching in India, which curbs free thinking, ability to take risks, and encourages one to fit in the existing system, rather than creating your own path.
