It is time that India started generating indigenous jobs rather than take pride in being a "BPO nation". It is short-sighted to imagine that the BPO boom is going to last forever. As soon as the business owners find a cheaper alternative, with good infrastructure, they are going to opt for that. We certainly don't need credibility issues like data thefts at this point.
While it is ok to make hay while the sun shines, it is also time to get real...the sooner, the better.
