Today's youth doesn't know truth about British Raj: When British came: (1) British comes to India as bagger and bagged for business rights. (2) When British came to India, per capita income of India was more British. (3) India and China had 60% share of the global export. (4) Indian hand craft, and art was world famous.
When They became the ruler: (1) They killed the Indian education system, art and handcraft. (2) They banned Indian martial art after 1857. (3) They brutally murdered and hanged them to the tree including children. (4) They cheated, looted and robbed India. Victoria still posses Indian diamonds, and jewelery. (5) They artificially created famine in Bangal and other places. (6) They introduced Dowry, and bio-terror. Endless list of their atrocities

Who is responsible for all these? Do you expect your invadors to behave otherwise? It is the rule of any war. Let us try to be organized and fight our future wars to get adnatage of this beautiful world once again.

Although British did some atrocities and looting their rule must be a blessing in disguise. Beacaue of british, people started having some awareness that education was not a monopoly of a particular community. Because of english education, people developed a sense of freedom and fought against british to get freedom. You might notice that most of leaders who led freedom struggle were educated by british. Social menace like sati, untouchability, child marriage were regarded as crime and sins atleast by educated people. Above all we got a country known as India which otherwise would be land of so many kingdoms.
