Well, I know I live in kolkata and I'm biased. But then I'm surprised to see kolkata is not in the list. The city of love, peace, and music, and sweets. Despite being populous and polluted city, kolkata still got some lovely place to go for love-talk.

I fully agree. Kolkata is a nice place. I lived there. I love to visit the place again. The lakes, the gardens and the Rasgulla all are enjoyable.

Hving lived my life away from the city all these years and getting used to the North India culture, its refreshing to come back to Kolkata...the City of Joy. The cultural interaction, the genuineness of affection, the bon homie shared, the lack of boorish show offs, the quiet dignity of knowledge and its sharing, the beautiful ladies in their flowing cotton sarees, the equanimity with which seniors and juniors share their views, the city of 'Bhadraloks,...courteous and dignified to perfection. these are what attracts me to the city. Kolkata...inded the ' City of Joy'.
