I do not think we are any more racists than others. We may react to strangers this way, but once we get to know them, all are same.
People tend to isolate themselves. That is due to insecurity. The siblings can be really close. The moment they marry, other factors come into play. The distance also creates the divide and suspicion. I know brothers so close but drift apart for trivial reasons.
I have had opportunities not only to mingle with my own kind, but also foreigners. Scratch the surface all are same. Of course, there are cultural differences. The western people never are nosey unless you are a Britney Spears or Paris Hilton! They live and let live. We tend to get too close for comfort. Some exploit the kindness and try to run our lives!
Our politicians divide us. They recycle the past for their selfish interests. Many fall prey. Some just use the rediff for getting the bile out of mostly miserable existence. Anybody is fair game. They have their pet themes mostly a game called cricket. That can bring out extreme passsion.
My take is, life is too precious to hate. All are same. Only circumstances make us seem different. All mothers love their children. All men love beautiful women! All women love to be pampered by their favourites!
The moment we realise we are all blessed and created from the same stock, we can live in peace. I can coexist with anyone and we come alone and leave the same.
Let us celebrate life! More in common than we realise!

well said. however, everyone wants to stay together irrespective of their culture, color and origin. but, due to the insecurity, we tend to dominate others just by provoking their weaknes such as religion, color or culture...
try to understand the others mentality and act accordingly to overcome these kind of problem...
