Indians abroad
by Attatar Yena on Mar 06, 2008 05:27 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Indians do behave in a childish manner.. Too competitive for other students to feel comfortable about... Just imagine Indians would react if students from Bangladesh or Africa did the same in India.. In my observation, students who come to US need a primer in behaving and speaking in Western Society.. We are all deeply divided within and we tend to take teh same divisions in our mind when we go abroad and that partly explains why we ar so interested in others afairs... I wonder why there is no violence against the chinese ?? becasue they blend very well with others and are very helpful ( in my experience) as far as academics is concerned. Not like Indians who want to be unnecessarily competitive even with their fellow country men even when it is not needed... Most of Indians are insecure when they deal with others ...

There is violence against Chinese too. But less. Chinese are the most diplomatic back stabbers in this world. You can trust a lawyer, a cunning jackal but never trust a Chinese. I guess we all got a dose of that during Indo-China war. Hindi-Chini Bhai-Bhai and then Bye-Bye

Comparison to Chinese may not be fitting but the inherent nature of INDIANS is well chronicled. We are like that.
