Tax heavily
by Hindustani on Jun 09, 2008 03:15 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Tax havily on cars/private vehicles.
Say... if the vehicle cost is less than 1L, 15% tax.
1L to 2L, 50%
2L to 3L 100%
3L to 5L 200%
5L and above 300%..
Utilize that tax to provide good infrastructure (roads, drinking water etc...) and improve public transportation drastically, so that even with the current population growth rate afer 100 years, it should work.
Use strict measures of population control irrespective any sects. Otherwise, whole India will run short of food also... and we should completely dependant on food from imports.

Bhai,

Our India is already in mess. Of someone plans for a pipleline, they have to get approval from a 1000 authorities. Roads? A 10km will take 1 year to make after getting clearance from all area. So do you think its easy go bring drinking water and infrastructure in a year or two?

How about the idea of putting parking charges for all 4 wheelers in all companies in India - Minimum 50 bugs / day.. Even the senior executive will join the company provided transport.

Great idea. Is one supposed to eat 50 bugs/ day or collect and give 50 bugs/day to the company.
