Glad to have found a selfless Guru
by Manik Agarwal on Jul 17, 2008 07:24 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

It's been close to nine years since I met Divine Pramila Hemrajani, based in Uttar pradesh. This period has been of continuous learning to think, act and love as Krishna, Christ, Guru nanak, Kabeer and so many enlightened souls. These days it is rare to find a Guru who accepts no favour from any disciple, treats him equally but spends His own energy and time to make a disciple as perfect as Guru oneself is.

Even Guru don't seek any favors, Shisya have the obligation and duty to offer Guru-dakshina. Gurus also needs food to eat, house to live, cloths to wear... If Shisyas only want selfless guidance from Guru and no dakshina, then it is worst selfishness of shisyas.
