GURU VANDANA

I have always considered as my guruji, none other than Bhagwan Sri Sridhar Swamiji, who is considered as the avatar of Dattatreya and manasa-shishya of Bhagwan Sri Samarth Ramdas.

He has always showed me the right path whenever I was in difficulties, He has guided me whenever I had doubts, through His devine grace He has even cured my illness, He has stopped me whenever I had the oppertunity of going astray. He has never accepted anything from any of His devotees except chanting of God's names. Though He took samadhi in 1973 and I have never seen Him physically, I can feel His devine presence everytime I need Him. For Him, money, wealth, name, fame, popularity or publicity were least important. What He expected was only Bhakti, Prem,Simplicity, Clean Hands, Clear Mind and Pure Heart.

Such Gurus take avatar once in a way to cleanse the humanity. I adore Ramakrishna Paramahansa, Swami Vivekananda, Ramana Maharshi, Shirdi Sai Baba, Guru Raghavendra,Bhagwan Sri Samarth Ramadas, Aadi Shankaracharya.

Apart from these devine gurujis, I had the oppertunity of learning under Sri S S Kulkarni, who used to teach Mathematics in PDJ Higher Secondary School, Bijapur, he is the one who moulded my charecter. Through this medium, I pray my respects to him.

Jai Gurudev
