Loved your article! Never mind the China vs Japan debate... I am what is commonly referred to as a 'mocka-tarian'. Mocka mila to non-veg khaya, nahin to veg' if you get the drift.
I can't help thinking that if we stopped being so stuffy about our eating habits, we would open up a world of great cuisine out there. Just like Anthony Bourdain and his ilk. But then, stuffiness is a national character :)

Bourdain is the most self-obsessed condescending spouter of judegements on local cuisines that he has no taste for or intent to enjoy.One of the tribe of T&L presenters that the channel picks of the streets at random. And if you think we are stuffy about our eating habits,go to china!
