This one is a weak attempt at humour. So what do you expect that your "boss" to become non-veggy just because he needs to travel to Japan. Well even among meat eaters I find non-veggies flinching when they hear that people eat dogs in Korea or snakes in China...so how is it better to eat chicken masala and not snake masala both are non-veg aren't they ? Pl undestand that choice of food we eat is very personal and there is nothing patently right or wrong.

No your logic is wrong. Drinking the cow's milk does not kill the cow. By your logic, eating chicken doesn't actually kill the chicken.
