I stay in gurgaon. Once while coming back from meerut on monday morning to gurgaon I saw one guy with a 2 wheeler in bloodbath on ring road (andrews ganj) flyover on the other side. I took U turn, ask the bystanders to put him in my car. delhi police came in the meantime. The police inspector sat with me in my car and I went to AIIMS trauma center. He asked me to fill up one easy form. took my sign on a paper which had list of all the items which police found of the victim on road. and asked me to go. as simple. No hassles. guys come forward. my personal exp says it all.. I wont mind helping another person again...NB: I was carrying a spare bedsheet with me which I spread on the backseat of my car before comforting the victim. I guess most ppl dont help because they are scared that their car will get dirty with blood.

This happened when our family (4 adults and 2 children) were going to Mumbai from Pune around midnight. One qualis full of members of a Muslim family had collided against trailer, though most of them had escaped one young boy about 15 years had severed his hand and the arm was hanging from the socket it was that bad. All of us immediately got down including child and one of us drove injured to nearest hospital. There were no polimen though we were ready to sign requisite forms; We still shudder remembering that days experience. But the main thing is your statement that people dont help because they are scared that their car will get dirty with blood. That day obviously the boy was bleading and our car became a mess. The point is though we helped we were scared for many days; the reason is fear of catching HIV; we changed the entire car seat not to take any chance though the boy was only about 15. Even you should I think remember; any one can have HIV/Aids

Nishant Jaiswal, though you may not get by sitting on the pool of blood which is HIV infected, blood can enter your body through wounds which you may have like a cut on your hand etc. You are under the misconception that HIV virus are dead the min they are exposed to air. Please google and see how HIV spreads. If you still want to remain in ignorance, it is your choice.
