NRIs!Most of them think that they are much better than Resident Indians (there are obviously few exceptions). All my cousins, who did not manage to get jobs here have settled abroad. It is much tougher to build a business in India, and they could not handle it, so they went abroad and got cushy jobs. Even the most imcompetent Indian can go make a great living abroad. And once they do that, they end up feeling that they are better than Residents, because they make more money. Most second generation NRIs (again, exceptions exist) have no clue about their roots, and end up as ABCDs, not knowing what their identity is. Either they consider themselves as Indians without knowing much about India or they consider themselves Americans and perpetually look down upon India, and feel that Indian culture is stupid, or "backward", without really making any attempt to go deeper and understand it.
*Im talking only about the American/British NRIs, i dont know of any others. My rant was little on the exaggerated side, but it holds true for the vast majority.*
