These big school are of no meaning to me. The coaching class cost it self is so high, a poor fellow like me can not even go near the coaching school. To mug up these coaching material so much pen, pencil and paper is required that I can not even buy them. That is injustice to me. I landed up doing my grad in Philosophy. Any job oppertunity for me. Govt should focus equally on primary education and ban coaching classes (but still have those tough entrances) for entrance to these name brand colleges

well, if you really wanted to get into IITs or IIMs you could have done it. Where you have will you have a way.
may be you had other options in mind like philosophy, that hindered your focus.
in conclusion, I hope you are in the field that you wanted to.

I am still trying to get into some name brand school to do my PG or PhD, so that I can land a job in the IT boom. But then I can not decide may be I will take some english training and join some call center to make some quick bucks. The govt also does not give good stipend for PG/PhD in Humanities section, so looks I will have to look for some quick bucks.

U dont need bigmoney to prepare for them.IIT-JEE tests u on math,physics and chemistry.even if u goto govt colleges they will teach u the same.u can goto library u will find lot of books on math,physics or chemistry.U need discipline to beat these IIT brains who set these questions,its not about mugging,its about lightning speed,geek,interest,motivation,god given brain,he gave same to everybody,rich,poor,religion nothing,u need to be a genius like tendulkar for cricket to beat them,even ramanujulu was stark poor,he became famous,if u r rich,u'll not have motivation to sit for IIT,u r blessed that u r poor,u have everything to prove.why do u think with nothing INDIA with half naked fakirs is prospering,taking away US jobs,we r hungry,we r poor,we want to step it up.This young generation is on our own,we dont need nobody help,we can beat it buddy,make knowledge shine.dont get dis heartened u can work and continue ur education,now even u see plenty of working openings for students.In US at any age u can start over ur career,have a dream and make it happen.
