most of those rubbishing the B-schools are just overly optimistic guys and gals who failed to get into a good b-school and now have left any hope of getting in.
If we do not discount the importance of external factors (apart from a person's talent or hardwork) in any profession (including entrepreneurial ventures or pre-established business) then an MBA from a reputed b-school exponentially enhances the probability of succeeding by giving you more control over them.
So if you are ever interested in a managerial job or running a certain business, try to get into one.
Btw, why do the same question haunt me every time somebody mentions Late Dhirubhai Ambani? - Why did he got his sons educated at Stanford and Wharton for management?
