For all those ignorant people who wrote messages berating Kerala, here are some facts for you.

Education - No 1
Healthcare - No 1
Law and Order - No 1
Social development index - No 1

Obviously a state so differnt from other states, will be very possesive about its language. So is japan, Germany, France, etc.

I don't know as to why you should get upset. No one is berating anybody. People are trying to point out the shortcomings so that you improve and become good citizens. Don't compare Japan/Germany/France etc. with Kerala

Downright Hypocrites

Education hasn't made a difference to the people's attitude. They still are orthodox, arrogant and behave like sticklers.

Someone mentioned Kerala as a country....wonder how it would survive on its own with spices & coconuts as the sole produce and housewives, kids and senile oldies left to run the country.

Kerala is also Number One for the following:

Hartal / Bandh
Number of Bars / Jewellery Shops
Consumption of Liquor
Chicken Guniya and so many .......
