Digestion problem sensitive stomach

Thanks Shameem for such a gud article.

i have a chronic digestion problem (indigestion or slow digestion). Also my stomach is sensitive to many foods. Doctors suspect it could be either Irritable Bowel Syndrome or a Liver problem. Coupled with this i have acidity sometimes.
Please suggest me a solution.

Am giving you three links of poses that help with the specific problems you have mentioned. The links also have simple diagrams on how to do these pose. In this, the first one has a list of poses for all digestive problems -- from these select only those relevant for IBS. The second one has suggestions on foods to be avoided. And for acidity, you can also try these pranayamas -- alternate nostril breathing (nadi shodhana), bhramari (humming bee), and regular practice of vajrasana (thunderbolt) for five minutes before and after a meal. Most important, you can start a regular meditation practice. If you find it difficult to meditate on your own, I suggest you meditate with dhyana tapes (most ashrams have these for sale and also now these are available at well-known bookshops) or visit sites like SwamiJ.com which has online meditations on for 24-hours. The latter, dhyana, will definitely be the most important part of your healing.
