This ain't right

This really wasnt too amusing. I say this because , Tiger is by nature a PREDATOR. The very word specifies that it lives in the wild. Its really not a DOG ! :) It definitely mightve been fun being with the cats for some time but then when you see them roaming in the wild ...thats a different experience altogether. My personal verdict - Such places should be banned.

Tell me tejas... the rate at which tigers are bieng poached, will we see a tiger in the wild few years from now?????? i feel this is the last chance to save the tigers from bieng extinct.... by letting it in the wild, you know very well what happens to them .... THEY ARE BIENG POACHED. Tigers are fed meat and not vegetables but the meat is without blood... If we cannot do anything for them, least we can do is to respect others who are struggling to SAVE THESE WONDERFUL CREATURS...... I disagree with your comment that "such places should be banned" these monks have dedicated thier lives to save these creatures from bieng killed, we can surely respect their sentiments and work, what should be banned is poaching and all the zoos not this effort...

I do agree with the last sentence in your paragraph there, I agree that forest laws need to be made stricter. However, i disagree with the major part of the lines above which try to convince that this is a great way to save the creatures.

Let me put my point this way -

Would it be decent for a 40 man to hit on a teenage girl ? :D or would the romance look great on a teenage pair ? This was an example that struck me at this moment. I personally believe that there are things in LIFE, that look great only where they are meant to be.

Tell me one thing - Would you like to see a TIGER, making a kill in the wild , roaming around royally in the wild , OR would you like it to cuddle alongside you , or probably have milk form a nursing bottle ? . I bet you would like the former to happen !

I agree with you that in the current scenario, TIGERS are vulnerable to the poachers that we have in the WILD ..But won't it be a great idea to probably breed tigers artificially so that they are born naturally in the wild and parallely make FOREST rules stricter , probably increase the number of forest ranger patrols in the forest and things allied to it .

Thats why I still say ..This ain't right !

You seem to be living in a world of utopia. If only tigers were not killed for their bones, teeth and hair to make human beings more beautiful or increase their lifespan, you could have gone for a safari or taken your kids or grand children to see tigers in the wild! If you feel so strongly about saving these tigers, then why not start a save the tiger campaign and ensure that every tiger on this planet is safe. If people were not so short sighted of being corrupt and allowing poachers to step in and kill these creatures, our world would have been a better place. its time we wake up and smell the coffee. Now dont tell me, trying to save the giant panda is a wrong thing. coz even though they are being artificially bred, the chances of an infant panda survival is very poor. But scientisits are doing everything to save them. Thats why i said, there's a lot more than a 9 to 5 job and very easy to comment while sitting in an office space. What Meghana and her husband did is commendable. I am happy to know people like them exist in this world.
Peace!!
