Reservations are killing the common man
by Pritish DSouza on Jun 21, 2007 11:28 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Reservations in India are so high that it is virtually impossible for even good students to get admission in a decent institution. Choices are out of the question . So there is no option but to go abroad for furthur studies. If one does not belong to the priviledged class of reserved students there is no way one can get admission because not everyone can score 99% especially in X and XII CLASS

Even I feel I am the last generation of Indian engineers who have studied from Indian institutes and landed up great jobs in Indian companies on the basis of merit alone.
