Reservation Blows
by Inadvertently Human on Jun 07, 2007 10:30 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

In my humble opinion we need to KEEP the caste system since its based on Sanathan Dharma.

At the same time, we can help economically downtrodden SC/ST/OBCs.

All Hindus should be allowed inside Temples but at the same time, Varnashram must be preserved.

I am completely against inter-Caste, inter-communal marriages. I am totally for preserving the genes of the specific castes.

So inter-marriage is out of the question. I have no issues getting along well with other castes.

So why not appreciate the unity in diversity.

I am completely against caste based resevration as it dilutes the talent pool.

Dear brother, I just do not want to comment on the basis of casteism as propunded in Hindu religion, 'coz, my knowledge is very limited, but as far as the reservation in Govt. Jobs is concerned, it should be immediately abolished as it prompts casteism in naked eyes. According to the Poona Pact signed, it was based on the dialogue to continue the reservation for 10 years after independence. But, now it has become the ace card of the dirty politicians to gain votes. Instead, can't they make it like the way that the downtroddens be given free of cost education to uplift theirselves? They won't do it 'coz if the society gains education, it will endanger their political fate. On the other hand, they always try to create subsections of the society to gather votes and create caste based or communal tensions which the common people don't understand and easily become the prey of the same. But since the reservation is implemented, no significant improvement among the downtroddens (not only the downtroddens, but the entire society taken as a whole) has been noticed as they still do not afford to have proper education to meet a certain criterion and apply for a job. When they strive hard each and every day to earn a piece of bread, how come they think of having education? Does the Govt. ever think of that? So, as a result a lot of seats are found to be vaccant and even others can't apply for and fill the same and little by little, the unemployment situation is becoming worst day after d

day after day. It is a total injustice as being continued by the Govt. I really doubt the Govt. activities!! Are they really in favour of benevolence of the citizens? I doubt. The job Quotas in any form should be abolished immediately and the Govt. should treat all the citizens equally, if it really wants to see our Homeland a prosperous one.

Thank you,

Md. Yazed Alam Khan.

I think you are very cleaver person. You talked about only things that suits your benefits :-). Good.

You are not favor of treating every human being equally. You want to justify this by Dharma. But you want to remove the reservation to make feel that every body is equally treated.

My friend please learn to love human beings if you are so attached to dharma.
