The community which is backward from thousands of year,community whose social development has not been done in so many years,whose children were not educated from so many years and they are suffering from untouchabilty from so many years,how can a person say that reservation for that community is wrong.
Reservation for sc/st should be raised up to level of atleast 50% so that we could bring them in the race of development very soon,they could become the part of nation development.
But i will say reservation in two areas should not be implemented. Medicines and defence.
I request other people that pls think about the nation not only about yourself.

I dont know about your caste but I am the suffered due to reservation. Inspite of doing better than my SC ST friends I have not found admission in reputed govt. schools. Why should I suffer because of no fault of mine. It is only because my parents are bramhin and if you think that every bramhin is wealthy then come to my village. My father works in a shop and he earns 50Rs/. daily. So where should I go ? where should my child goes ? They all worked in the shop? I am here in front of the computer because some how after completing my graduation I have got an entry lebel job and from there I got promotion and earns more money than my sc/st friends who because of their caste has got a government job.

You are confusing social problem with education, employment and economics. Bring in participation from backward communities in the government so they can ensure the law is just and people who are alienated because of their community status are allowed legal means to improve their social conditions.
Primary and Secondary Education should be free for all who cannot afford it!
Jobs should be provided through voluntary programs of public and private organizations! Govt should consider their progress every year before providing them future biz expansion approvals.

Congress started this movement for untouchables but made it a vote bank politics. later on other parties have added fuel in fire.Please first stop creamy layer, who is snatching all this benefit from the needy persons of SC/ST,

Dear Friend, I agree with your views. But when 85% of people of a country like India are scstobc then can you calculate how many thousand years will take so that those people will get benefited? Just imagine when iit iim aiims have around thousand each. Then how many millions years it will take so that one from each family will get benefited? The root cause of problem is poverty and illiteracy so reservation, if should exists, be based on financial status. Just imagine person like you who is internet / computer savvy and can write in English so well, need reservation in iit/iiim and aims? If yes then those for whom this policy is made will never get benefited even when last human will be alive in universe. So we need creamy layer policy, if reservation is made. Just think did dr ambedkar, phule got reservations??? It was their sheer talent by which they come up in nation. Ambedkar said learn, unite and fight. But it has been wrongly interpreted by people. They learn (show certificate and pass some how, again show certificate and get ahead and cycle continues), They unite (to ask for more reservations and more benefit for people who really need affirmative actions, and after passing resolution jump over those people and reap of benefits and cry for them again and again) and after that fight (again for reservation that we have seen after independence and even today in Rajasthan). Please stop saying %u201Cthink of nation and not about self%u201D since those people rat

SC/ST are to raise against creamy layers and politically made SC/ST for their Vote Bank,like Gujjars, as they are snatching the rights of needy SC/STs.

We are thinking bout the nation and that is why we are against the reservation. I have seen SC/St people in govt. sector who don't know how to writea simple leteer and they occupy the seats in PWD. What's the result. The work gets delayed and you are talking about "concern for the nation". If you SC?st people have least amount of nation-concern , you would not support reservation, which you are supporting now for only and only your personal benefits.
