Is it advisable for the one already having backache??

at the first circumstance, Is it possible to do such asanas for the one who already has backache??

yes, with supervision.
this is not a kind of physiotherapy.
calcification & non-flex activities are the main cause for all vertebral issues.
at the age of 76 yrs my father got cured & now at 78 he ENTHUSIASTICLY performes "DHANURASAN & SARWANGASAN".
check it out with self-trial.

Visweshji, it is really great to hear of your father and I thank you for sharing your experience with us, and giving it the scientific understanding. This helps promote yoga in a very convincing manner:)

Rahulji, if you reread my intro, or even my responses below or elsewhere, you will see that I clearly advise people against doing this when you have an acute, severe backache. I repeat this suggestion for you again: always consult a spine expert, identify your problem, do prescribed physiotherpy, then having controlled the problem attempt these.As I have explained, in several cases of backache the trigger may be psychosomatic, in which case these poses offer immense relief. They are also helpful in borderline cases. As well as super preventives in those whose jobs (sedentary or involving only one type of motion, as with factory workers) predispose them for backache...
