What about if the case in your family
by atul g bhalerao on Jul 17, 2007 02:05 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The persons who are in support of this culture, I want to ask them if they feel the same if your sister, daughter are part and parcel of this culture. Mind you, Indian Society culture is the strongest culture in this world and that is whey we are safest than any other country

yes if my sister or daughter wanted to live in ; i would respect their decisions as an adults decision; whether i like it or not; i have no right to impose my decisions on anyone; secondly indian culture has been the strongest because it was never rigid; it has always been flexible; no wonder so many cultures have been absorbed by it and a wonderful amalgamation has resulted.

What if your sister/daughter could get the right partner even after N number of 'Live-in''s? Do you think it would still be a rosy future and could just rewind everything?

India is one of the fastest growing country in the world. Till a few years back, all we had was our culture and values.. Come on mate.. There is more to it. If you really want to know about the indian culture, do some research on indian history before the british invaded india.

IF you can accept love-marriage why not live-in-relatonship? It is one and the same.
